The Flyaways are one of our longest running bands having played together since 2011. They are also one of our busiest bands performing all over the world every year. They've played at events in Qatar, Santorini, and France as well as hundreds of weddings and parties up and down the UK. Their rock, pop and folk styled sound is complimented by their amazing vocal harmonies. Check out their videos and you'll see how talented they are. Also check their instagram for occasional live vids.
Like all our bands The Flyaways are the same 4 musicians every week and, due to the fact that band have been together so long, you get an amazing vibe that you can only get from seeing great friends sharing a stage together. The chemistry between them enables the band to entertain with ease, to get the audience involved with songs, and to make sure every last person is having an unbelievable night.
The band take their music on an improvised journey through genres including rock, pop, soul, hip hop, country, and jazz, and can switch instruments and lead vocalists. The music on the night will take you through the ages. 50’s rock ‘n’ roll, funk and soul classics, raucous indie rock and the latest pop hits, with some 90s/00s hip hop thrown in - all seamlessly blended together to keep the party moving.
The guys have spent many years working as session musicians and producers, touring all over Europe playing festivals, arenas, and doing live radio and TV work. Some of the artists the band have worked with or shared the stage with are: Sean Paul, The libertines, Charli XCX, Boy George, Jamiroquai, Lethal Bizzle, Fuse ODG, Wretch 32, and John Newman.

We have been to 37 weddings in 5 years, and The Flyaways were the best band out of them all. Our guests raved about their talent, showmanship and repertoire. Great personalities, fantastic to work with and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone wanting an amazing party atmosphere! Wedding September 2018
The guys were absolutely awesome - first dance, set list and crowd interaction all brilliant. Please pass on our thanks, they ensured everyone had an awesome time and the dance floor was packed. So many guests asking where we found them - I think they will be v popular in years to come. Thanks for all your help, Ian - Married 26th August 2018
It occurs to us that we haven't been in touch since our wedding on 7 July and we just wanted to drop you a quick line to say thank you. Your help in booking a band was really appreciated and we were so glad that we booked The Flyaways. Not only were they really friendly, but their music was incredible. They created the perfect party atmosphere and our friends were going crazy on the dance floor. Exactly what we'd hoped for and a brilliant way to end the day. Please pass on our thanks to them and we wish them all the best. Thanks again, Lisa and Doug - Married July 7th 2018
Awesome band! Thank you all so much for making my partner’s 40th an absolute blast. Fantastic live music, great organisation in the run up to the event, and a really varied and brilliant repertoire. Absolutely love that you learnt ‘Stacy’s Mom’ specifically for our party - made our night. Thanks again. Would highly recommend. 40th Bday Party London - 12th May 2018
Hi Chris, Thank you so much for your help in signing the Flyaways for Phoebe’s Party on Saturday, the band went down a storm. Not only did the boys play their socks off, but they were charming to have around too. I hope they enjoyed playing. Best wishes, Louise - 21st Birthday Party, London - 7th April 2018
Hi Guys, We wanted to get in touch to say a massive thank you for playing at our wedding and for providing the best set we could have hoped for. The music was incredible and each of you were friendly and really lived up to our expectations. We searched long and hard for a band that we liked and really struggled so we will be recommending you to everyone we know - we were so impressed. We loved that you blended in the music from our DJ between your sets to create a seamless transition - especially when you started playing Prince! The musical variety was really good and the quality was excellent. We felt like were at a proper gig with a really top quality band. You were great at interacting with our guests and we've had nothing but positive feedback from everyone in attendance. Thank you again - we will definitely be coming to see you play live the next time you're in London to say hello and re-live a truly memorable night! Also a mention to Eddy and Chris who work with the band behind the scenes and were great to deal with in the lead up to our wedding. It certainly makes a difference to work with professional and organised people so we are very grateful. Ben and Jenny - married at Woburn Abbey Sculpture Gallery in March 2018.
